Courses for foreigners in Spain 1979-80
The history of the Courses for Foreigners in Spain continues onward. A significant expefence has been obtained, which contributes to the correcting of ealier deficiencies and to the testing of new approaches. In any case, in relation to other years, a certain increase in the demand for these Courses has been noted, and no doubt has stimulated the organization of new ones in different locations throughout the country. lt is also true that some have been suspended, but the overall result gives us a 'arger number for 1979 than in the past year. Likewise, some Courses have been reorganized, with a change in location or a marked variation in the content of their programs. Emphasis must also be given to the organization of Permanent Courses, complemented by audiovisual methods for improving the effectiveness of claswork. On offering this new informative edition of the Courses for Foreigners in Spain, the Ministry of
Education and Science wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the various institutions and entities
which organize and sponsor these Courses for the fruitful work they perform in favor of the promotion
of knowledge of the Spanish Language and Culture. Over eleven thousand students wil benefit
from their initiative and cooperation, enabling them to share in our cultural patrimony, and it is fitting
to recognize here and now the singular merit of those who make possible the perfecting and consolidation
of the Courses for Foreigners.
